For a very long time, I didn’t have an answer to that question.

It is an amazing program, but if there was one sentence that articulated what Money&You was, I didn’t have it. So whilst Money&You was something to me, it was also a lot of other things to many people – each individual got a different lesson. Whatever the lesson was, for the people who applied the principles …taught in the 3.5 days, their lives shifted and their results changed.

My life definitely shifted. It shifted so much I wasn’t happy just to be just a graduate of the program. (It’s also interesting that Money&You® is possibly the only program in the world that I know of, that graduates would actually print “Money&You® Graduate” on their business cards.) There was a very close fraternity that the program created, one that I still cannot describe.

I started an adult education business because of Money&You®. I invested a lot of money in other programs in the following years, programs whose trainers had gone through the portals of Money&You® – people like T Harv Eker, Robert Kiyosaki, Blair Singer, etc. to name a few – people who have created tremendous results in their lives.

I wanted to be a Money&You® Instructor and that started my journey with the Instructor Training Program. I wanted to go deep with participants to create breakthroughs for them, so I invested in a Coach Training Program. I wanted to be involved in promoting the program, so we became an official marketing arm enrolling participants to Money&You® in Singapore.

So what is this program called Money&You®, so inexplicable, so elusive and so powerful?

What I got from Money&You® was this – it was an environment where I found a community with whom I could have conversations with subject matter that I was passionate about – a bigger purpose, a cause that I could align to, and impact that I can create in the world – conversations that previously got me blank stares from my peers.

It was an environment that I got distinctions about extremely simple and amazingly powerful common-sense principles that create results, not from theory, but from empirical evidence and practical application.

It was the place where I was introduced to what I now consider to be one of the greatest thinkers of the 20th Century – this person we fondly refer to as Bucky, this amazing human being called R Buckminster Fuller – that the late singer John Denver called “The grandfather to the universe”.

It was the program that uncovered for me why I was getting the kind of results I was getting in my life. And life has never been the same ever since. Before that, I was stuck in second gear for a very long time with the brakes on.

After Money&You, everything was unleashed.

And I mean everything. My life went on to maximum gear and it’s been an exhilarating ride. “Struggle” was virtually eliminated from my reality.

Is Money&You® for you?

I cannot answer that question for you. What I can tell you are the possibilities that it has created for a lot of people, and how they have gone on to do amazing things in their lives.

Money&You® was part of a program created in 1978 by an entrepreneur Marshall Thurber, because people want to learn how he built a $60M business in 3 years, with just $25,000. And more than that, he was working with a team who really enjoyed working with each other.

It was a business program that was created to teach the business principles that Marshall used that created those results for him and his business.

So we had people who attended the program and what happened was this – not only did they create more results in their businesses, but what they learnt also spilled over to their personal lives, their relationships and other areas as well. That got people curious, what was this program that had such a profound impact – and other people started to attend the program, even though they were not primarily interested in business or entrepreneurship.

The program evolved and eventually became two programs – one was the Business School for Entrepreneurs, which was highly focused on delivering entrepreneur and business content, and the other is the program we know now as Money&You®.

In the last 35 years, more than 95,000 people worldwide have attended Money&You®, many of whom have experienced their own personal breakthroughs from applying the set of generalized principles that are taught in the program – it’s like finally getting some “answers” to questions that most of us ask about life, or simply having a paradigm to operate from.
I read a lot, and have literally devoured books on personal development for years, from Stephen Covey to Tom Hopkins, on management and business, and entrepreneurship and wealth creation, to teams and mindsets to spirituality. I thought I learnt a lot from reading with a constant hunger to learn more. Money&You® gave me an entire different learning experience, even with some of the information that I was already familiar with. Massive distinctions on content came through the way the program was run – a technology that I now know as Excellerated Learning.

For how many of us has this question constantly come up – is there something else that we are meant to do? Or figuring out that feeling of being stuck in second gear despite doing everything right, or as right as we can?

How many of us have created a reality that continue to give us the same results, over and over, in a circle that seems unbreakable?

Someone once said this – it’s insanity to expect a different result if we continue to do the same thing over and over again.

It’s insanity to create a different outcome if we are limited to what we know.

If we truly want to break out of a circle, or a limiting reality, something had to change. What would that change be?

I got answers in the 3.5 days that I had spent years looking for.

So whilst the content tends to be geared towards entrepreneurship, the principles are universal and apply everywhere. The business content was designed to be simple and familiar, which was also key in creating distinctions in learning.

What I got that Money&You® created, was an opportunity for a new set of possibilities, which is created by a shift or increase in the reality circle – an expansion of our inner world.

Some of the things that came through for people I know (and some for me too):

• Clarity on what was driving their lives, and creating the results that they were getting
• An awareness of the stops in their lives, that prevented them from moving on to the next level in creating results
• Clarity on money-conversations – why money was so hard to come by and when it does, how come it seems to so easily disappear
• Clarity on what’s creating stress in their relationships and what is needed to make their relationships work,
• Possibilities how being able to design and create their lives exactly as they want

The list goes on

The other thing that had a huge impact was definitely the use of the excellerated learning that literally sped up the learning process.

What I personally got from Money&You® far exceeds the program fee that I invested – I cannot go back to the life that I used to know – I am unwilling. I cannot imagine if I had not been exposed to this amazing experience called Money&You®, which started my journey, a journey that I know will go on for a very long time that has created this possibility for me to design and create the life exactly as I want. It’s also the people I’ve met, the fraternity of fellow Money & You® graduates – people I’ve formed amazing friendships with, people whom I do business with and people whom I know stand for something in their lives and will create amazing results not only in their own lives, but will make the world a better place.

It wasn’t a matter of being able to afford the program fee – it was a matter of the cost and consequence of NOT investing the program fee, that would have kept me in my self-created prison, and I wouldn’t even have known it.

So that’s the best word I can use to describe Money&You® is that it’s an “experience”. An experience that has shifted my world, that has given me the massive awareness of who I am, of what stops me, what unleashes me but most of all, what I need to do to design and create the life that I want, and therefore choice, of shifting my beliefs, that has changed my life.

It’s been an amazing 5 years since Money & You®.

But that world is not yet here.

We live in a world that is driven by fear, both conscious and unconscious.

Fear that there isn’t enough.  Fear that we won’t get our share. Fear of falling behind. Fear that someone else might get ahead.  Fear that we’ll be blamed.  Irrational Fear.

Fear that is driven by the legacy of a belief-system so insidious, that permeates our education system, our economics and our governments.  Fear driven by dark ignorance and even fear itself.

We live in a mad world, where mindless law is more important than the elimination of real suffering.

Where we give away our power, and live permission-based lives.  Because it’s easier to do this than to stand up for what we belief is right.

Where it’s easier to go with the flow and follow the crowd, than to listen to the integrity of our own minds, hearts and souls.

We live in a mad world driven by unadmitted prejudice.  We live in a world that is driven by illusions of what we think we want, fuelled by false beliefs that keep us in our deathly comfort zones, never to question status quo.

And I imagine that you imagine that world united too.

And so there’s work to be done.

The cycle is starting again.

This time next year I will look back and say exactly the same thing.

In a lifetime full of moments just like this, what will I hold and what will I have given away that my life has made a difference in making the world work for 100% humanity, 100% of the time?

To me, she was a companion, with a mischievous spark in her eye, who knew how to engage me, demanded when she wanted to play, when she wanted her snacks and when she would just simply adore me.

She would be about the house, appear when she needed to, the garden was hers to command.

And now, the garden will be empty without my little girl.

And I choose to experience it fully. Let the adventures unfold from the unknown. Let the lessons be learnt in the impossible. To speak what I need to say, to hear what I need to listen to, to feel what my heart tells me.

To boldly go and to know that at the end of my life I’ve lived dangerously because to be safe in comfort zone is already death.

Kiss Slowly,

Love Truly,

Laugh Uncontrollably,

And Never Regret Anything That Made You Smile.
